Oh man, stop us if you've heard this one before, but, Poway, Calif., player Becky Luccidi has been eliminated from the Big Break V Hawaii. (For a second time).
Screen grab courtesy of TGC, golf's you-know-what.
So overcome with emotion are we, that, it's all we can do, to report again, for a second time, that the former U.S. Amateur Champ has been knocked out.
Maybe will be over it enough to contribute a bit more tomorrow, however, there are always the archives, right?:

Having gotten over our angst as Lucidi's second elimination...
Yeah, well, anyway, it's the "flop wall" to start out the show for the mulligan challege on the Fazio course, 11th green.
"Definitely a shot to have in your back pocket," co-host Stephanie Sparks tells the remaining contestants. "You never know when you can shave a few strokes there."
Each player has to take the shot from three different locations. This challenge comes with a bonus -- a $5,000 golf package from Golfsmith.
Lucidi's first, describing the shot as "intimidating."
"I hit too much Hawaii," she mutters, coming up with zero points.
Jeanne's next, scoring tbe big 1 point.
For Kim, it's "one of her favorite shots," and recalls practicing it with her dad as a kid, over the house and back.
She nail it for five.
Big Ash(ley) scores one.
Chatty Julie, three.
They raise the wall.
Lucidi still sounds kinda freaked: "It's not a tree with little spots of air."
Jeanne, who agrees the shot is "intimidating visually," picks up three for a total of four.
Ash picks up three for a four total.
Julie rolls out snake-eyes.
Kim, who had the advantage of watching the flights of the others balls, knocks another shot stiff, picks up another five for a ten-point total, a mulligan, and the 5 grand Golfsmith package, feeling good 'cos she had "pulled off shots I was very good at."
On to the (Chrysler) Immunity challenge, a game of horse, except the goal is to hang contestants with the five-letter work: Break...
Everyone picks one shot, everyone hits, closest to avoids the letter, and furthermore gets to add an additional letter to whoever they choose.
Julie is first off, pick a shot over the bunker, nails it for a kick-in par, just outside 10 inches..
Everyone hits decent shots, and everyone 'cept for Julie gets the B.
Commercial break drama, who gets the extra letter?
Can you say Ashley?
Julie: "She hasn't had the pressure put on her, and she needed it."
Kim tries a 68-yard shot, thinking Julie will have some trouble with it. Instead, she misjudges the wind, and winds up 27 feet away.
Ashley's way short with her shot, Lucidi, 23 feet, 11 inches, Jeanne to 17 feet, 1 inch, and Julie is just outside of 12 feet. She avoids another letter and hangs another letter on her "friend" Ashley.
"She sees me as a threat, so of course she's going to try to throw letters at me, fine, I know it
for future reference," Ash says.
For her shot, she choses a downwind, downhill, downgrain, tough shot.
She's to 21 feet, one inch, Jeanne's inside her at 11 feet, 10 inches, and Julie stiffs another one to just inside two feet.
Kim had to hole it, hits a nice shot, but, no where close.
After a few go-rounds, the standings look like this:
Julie
Kim Bre
Becky Bre
Jeanne Brea
Ashley Break
Becky picks a 96 yards to the hole shot, grabs a 54 degree sand wedge, chokes down, knocks it to within 22 feet.
Kim can barely find the green with her first shot, pulls out the mullligan everyone had forgotten about, but still can't manage to put it closer than 49 feet, five inches.
Jeanne is out, Becky hangs the extra letter on Julie, saying "my parents taught me to share."
Julie picks a funky angle shot against the wind, over a bunker, again knocks it stiff.
Kim: "You're on fire."
She and Lucidi hit nice shots, but end up short, they're gone. Julie's left standing.
As mentined above, Lucidi falls short in the elimination challenge, a test of distance control, ends up with the least amount of it and is sent packing a second time. As previously mentioned, no drama to that. She plays her way back on, loses again, those left figure that's probably the way it oughta be.
