Another one from the Kona Isle condo C31 guestbook, this one from some folks from Washington:
"Found the condo pleasing and comfortable (although the blender isn't working and a cabinet door in kitchen needs repair). Some beautiful fabrics used in decor. Nice carpet.
Our plan was to snorkel early each morning, but a big storm system changed everything. It started raining as soon as we arrived with heavy rain, thunder, lightning all through the following day. Huge waves, beautiful, but snorkeling was difficult. Did manage to get out one morning but it was fairly rough. The other islands have been harder hit, so can't complain.
Enjoyed a couple of nice sunsets and a double rainbow over Honaunau, an exciting swim at Hookena Beach and a day along the Kohala coast. Now off to the Hilo side for the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden and another day of snorkeling the Puna area. Hard to believe, but Hilo's stayed dry through all this. Hope it lasts awhile...
Leaving on a sunny Kona morning. Thanks for sharing."
No, thank you. We've added a spanking new blender to the arsenal of kitchen appliances, and that cabinet door in the kitchen has been repaired. Thanks again for staying with us.
As noted in our guest book, you can add your own island memories to the Kona Condo blog during your stay and share them with your family, friends and the world, just email us (our addresses are in the guest book) and we'll give you a guest account.
