Weddell Seal Science announces the release of a new Interactive Map of Weddell seal pupping colony sites in the Erebus Bay, Antarctica study area! This interactive map with videos was created by Prof. Jay Rotella using the R/R Studio statistical computing and data management program using the Leaflet package. Colony videos, which can be viewed by clicking the blue icons on the map, were produced by Mary Lynn Price and Jeremy Schmidt. This map is also available in a full page environment on our project website's new Interactive Media section. We hope you enjoy exploring this new interactive map! We look forward to future interactive project maps visually presenting various aspects of Weddell seal population ecology going forward!
